Irina Balabayeva, the Executive Director of the Championship, spoke about how the Championship went:
"This year, more than 450 participants from almost 30 Russian regions have registered for the largest programming and modern information technology forum in Southern Russia. After the
online stage, the best programmers came to the Southern Federal University for face-to-face competitions. The set of tasks for each tournament included tasks of varying complexity that required participants not only to have deep knowledge of programming, but also to be creative, logical, and able to work in a limited time environment.
This year, the ContestSFedU Championship was held as part of the program of events of the Center for Training Researchers and Developers in the field of artificial intelligence, and the Schoolchildren's Tournament has been included in the List of Olympiads of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in the field of computer science for several years.
The sponsors, the leading IT companies in the region, who are long-standing and reliable partners of ICTIS and support all such events, provided great assistance in organizing and preparing the Championship.: BETA IR, Software Technologies, Lachestry, Monitor Electrician.
