As part of the tourist destination, the team of the Donetsk branch of the RANEPA, led by Anna Khanina, associate professor at the Institute of Tourism, Service and Creative Industries of the Southern Federal University, developed the interregional tourist route "Breath of the Azov Sea".
This civil-patriotic route united the iconic places of the Rostov region, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. The idea of the project was to create a unique educational program that introduces young people to the historical and heroic heritage of the macroregion. Svetlana Zhurkina, Deputy General Director of ANO More than a Journey, supervised the work on the project with the students.
Following the results of the project defense, the team of the Donetsk branch of the RANEPA won its nomination, receiving high marks from the federal jury, which included representatives of ministries, large businesses and public organizations. Inspired by the success, the guys continued to develop their project after the end of the rally.

In the autumn of 2025, the project proposed at the competition formed the basis of the Heroes of Generations tourist route and was launched as part of the Rosmolodezh program "More than a Journey". About 300 students from the Central, Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts became the first tourists to embark on this patriotic journey through Donbass and Novorossiya. The program included visits to the Sambek Heights Memorial Complex, the Taganrog Military History Museum, the Saur-Grave Memorial and the Stanichno-Lugansk Museum of Local Lore.
The culmination of the public recognition of the project was the trip of its authors to the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, which took place on the eve of the May holidays. On April 28, a delegation from the Donetsk branch of the RANEPA presented its draft at a meeting of the Committee on Social Policy. The students met with Andrei Yatskin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Senator from the Rostov Region, and Alexander Voloshin, Senator from the DPR, who highly appreciated the initiative of the youth and discussed prospects for further cooperation and scaling up the project at the federal level.
