The SFedU national chess team has won the qualifying stage of the National Student League championship in the Southern Federal District for the second year in a row.
On October 12, an online qualifying stage was held among the teams of higher educational institutions of the Southern Federal District. 27 teams participated in the tournament.
Following the results of the tournament, the SFedU chess players qualified for the final stage of the National Student Chess League in Moscow, which will be held from November 21 to 24.
They played for the national team:
Vladislav Sipetin, Master of Fide, Master's Student at the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies
Maxim Alpin, Master of Fide, student at the Institute of Earth Sciences
Ekaterina Donchenko, Female Fide Master, student at the D.I. Ivanovsky Academy of Biology and Medicine
