SFedU athlete – world champion in all-round karate

In the last decade of January, the Rostov City Chess Club hosted the Rostov Region Championship among veterans in classical chess, the age of the participants of the competition: men born in 1965 and older and women born in 1970 and older.
On January 24, the classical chess tournament (Swiss system, 7 rounds) ended, in which 15 people took part. In a hard-fought battle, Ivan Parinov, Chief Researcher at the I. I. Vorovich Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science, took the first place, scoring 5 points out of 7 possible.
