Ilvina Zaripova and Maxim Klyushnikov, students of the journalism department of the SFedU Institute of Philology, Journalism and Cross-cultural Communication, visited the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum "NOISE", which took place from October 26 to November 1 in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region.
The guys were able to collaborate with journalists from other countries, including Bali, Congo, Italy, Indonesia and Egypt. In total, 1,200 young media specialists from 87 regions of Russia and 86 other countries took part in the forum.
"When you are surrounded by like-minded people from different countries of the world, you feel like a part of more. To get to know the guys from Brazil, Italy, Indonesia, Zimbabwe and other countries – it was worth overcoming aerophobia and hundreds of kilometers for this," said Maxim Klyushnikov, a 4th-year journalism student.
During the forum, students attended master classes, discussions, evening programs for a whole week, and created their own projects. They also took part in solving various cases, in which Ilvina's team took the first place.
