The students of the International Summer School from India became participants in educational IT programs, got acquainted with the historical sights and cultural traditions of the Don land.
This significant event in the field of international cooperation was held for 10 days on the basis of the Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security of the Engineering and Technological Academy of the Southern Federal University with the support of the Indian-Russian Scientific Center of the Southern Federal University.
3 students and a visiting professor from Manipal University from Jaipur became participants in a rich educational program that was implemented as part of the International Summer School and included 7 tracks in the field of IT: mobile application development, machine learning and big data, information security operations, quantum technologies and telecommunications networks, modern cryptographic algorithms and analysis methods, fundamentals of electronics, technological methods of 3D printing. Classes, including lectures, workshops and master classes, were conducted in English.
Within the framework of the International Summer School, representatives of Taganrog IT companies INOSTUDIO, IBS Dunice, Oggetto, who cooperate with the Southern Federal University, conducted tours of their offices for guests from India and told about the main activities.
An interesting cultural and educational program was also prepared for the students of the International Summer School. They visited the main building of the Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don, the Museum of Local Lore (Alferaki Palace) in Taganrog, the People's military historical museum complex of the Great Patriotic War "Sambekskie Heights", the archaeological museum-reserve "Tanais". An unforgettable experience was given to the students of the International Summer School by a walk in the waters of the Taganrog Bay on the yacht of the Southern Federal University "Burevestnik".
During the visit, an agreement was reached between Southern Federal University and Manipal University Jaipur on joint plans for the future, which include research, student exchange, visits by foreign professors, and international interdisciplinary project activities.
At the closing ceremony of the International Summer School, Anton Plenkin, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Rector for Cooperation with Partners in the Republic of India, congratulated the students of Manipal University on the successful completion of their studies and presented certificates based on the results of their studies, as well as memorable gifts with the symbols of the SFedU.
A friendly buffet was organized for the participants of the event, which was attended by volunteers from the Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security of the Southern Federal University, who acted as translators during the International Summer School.
