SFedU spent a Breaststroke Day at the Southern Meridian

On February 11, competitions dedicated to Breaststroke Day were held at the South Meridian Sports and Recreation complex. They were attended by boys and girls of 14-15 years old (born in 2009-2010), 11-13 years old (born in 2011-2013), 9-10 years old (born in 2014-2015) and 7-8 years old (born in 2016-2017).

The participants were in high spirits and ready to fight for the title of the best swimmer in their category. The audience froze in anticipation in the stands, and now the first swim started...

Anna Solonitskaya (Swimming Federation) became the first in the 50-meter distance among girls from 7 to 8 years old; in the age category from 9 to 10 years old - Tsurgozen Darina (SKA School (ORC), Rostov-on-Don); from 11 to 13 years old - Vishnevskaya Eva (Secondary School No. 4).

In the same distance, boys from 7 to 8 years old were the first to finish Lezin Vsevolod (SFedU); in the age category from 9 to 10 years old - Kaznachevsky Alexander (SFedU); from 11 to 13 years old - Ivan Sashchenko (Secondary School No. 22); from 11 to 15 years old - Grigoryan Gevorg (SECONDARY SCHOOL No. 13).

The next test of the strength, will and endurance of the swimmers was a distance of 100 meters. So, among girls aged 7-8, Anna Solonitskaya (Swimming Federation) became the first; among girls aged 9-10 - Darina Tsurgozen (Secondary School (ORC) SKA, Rostov-on-Don); 11-13 years old - Elizabeth Volikova (Secondary School No. 22); 14-15 years old - Veronika Sidorova (Secondary School No. 4).

In the same distance, among boys 7-8 years old, the first place was taken by Vsevolod Lezin (SFU); among boys 9-10 years old - Yaromir Golovachev (Secondary School No. 4); 11-13 years old - Roman Surkov (Secondary School No. 22); 14-15 years old - Alan Bagryantsev (Secondary School (ORC) SKA Rostov-on-Don).

And finally, the final stage of the heavy competition was the 200-meter distance! Here, Arina Skripacheva (Secondary School No. 4) became the first among girls aged 9 to 10; Anastasia Panfilova (Secondary School No. 13) among girls aged 11 to 13; Veronika Efremova (Secondary School No. 4) from 14 to 15 years old.

Among boys at the same distance aged 9 to 10 years, the winner was Yaromir Golovachev (Secondary School No. 4); among boys aged 11 to 13 years - Vsevolod Severn (Secondary school (ORC) SKA, Rostov-on-Don); from 14 to 15 years - Artem Filimonov (SECONDARY SCHOOL No. 13).
