On December 12, a session dedicated to the joint technological agenda started at the site of the Advanced Engineering School of the Southern Federal University "Cyberplatform Engineering". A series of educational events in Taganrog is designed for 4 days and involves working in teams. The main requirement is that team members should be those who are involved in joint development projects, joint educational programs and are authorized to make appropriate decisions.

Each team must include key employers. Thus, the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev, the Azov Optical and Mechanical Plant, the Taganrog Communications Research Institute, the All-Russian Gradient Research Institute and others are taking part in the technological session.

The work will be carried out in four groups: RTK, telecommunication equipment and antennas, artificial intelligence and neural networks, electronics. By the beginning of the session, the participants had to prepare analytics and hypotheses on a number of topics:

• Challenges in their industry, trends in technological solutions and legislation;

• Plans of global market leaders and competitors;

• Key consumers/target market segments;

• Types of products that are planned to be produced;

• Requirements for products that ensure global competitiveness.

Key questions that the session is designed to answer:

1) Which markets, with which products to enter? What technological developments are needed for this?

2) What functional role should the SFedU faculty play in order to create maximum value for technology partners, for the development of the Southern Federal University, for students and graduates?

3) How should the process of joint development be organized in order to be as productive as possible? What resources, infrastructure, and equipment are needed for this?
