From April 11 to 13, Moscow hosts the "25th International Electronics Exhibition: Components and Technologies, Materials and Equipment, Embedded Systems and End Solutions". It was attended by representatives of three departments of the Southern Federal University.
ExpoElectronica International Electronics Exhibition is the largest electronics exhibition in Russia and the EAEU in terms of the number of participants and visitors, which represents the entire production chain from the manufacture of components to the development and assembly of final electronic systems. Its advantages are a high-quality composition of participants and visitors, high return on investment for exhibitors, expanded representation of Russian developers and manufacturers, as well as excellent opportunities for the development of international and local cooperation.
ExpoElectronica has been a key business event in the industry for 25 years, bringing together developers, manufacturers and distributors of electronics, end users, service organizations, integrators and other industry representatives interested in promoting and purchasing relevant products on one platform.
This year, the Southern Federal University was represented at the exhibition by employees of the Center for Engineering Developments "Microwave Technologies of Electrodynamic Structures" of the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control, as well as the Scientific Design and Technology Bureau "Piezopribor" Institute of High Technologies and Piezotechnics.
The SFedU team presented more than 10 of the most modern developments. Among them:
-Multifunctional piezoelectric transducers of sensors of mechanical quantities intended for use in control, measuring and diagnostic systems of objects of complex technology (special advantages: high reliability and stability of metrological characteristics, as well as extended dynamic, frequency and temperature ranges);
-Power amplifiers designed for applications in the aerospace, defense and electromagnetic fields;
-Upgraded Vivaldi ultra-wideband antenna, the proposed design of which allows to reduce the amount of microwave material required for the production of antenna array emitters by at least 29%;
-The simulator of false targets, designed to simulate the movement of false targets with a given controlled speed and the level of the reflected signal, can be used in covert communication systems and as beacons in air navigation - for covert identification of "friend-foe".
-The elements of the low-profile antenna array proposed by the design include two pairs of dipole emitters with strong coupling, providing operation on two orthogonal polarizations.
-A radio transmitting device for satellite communication systems, telemetry and information transmission (frequencies of the 5G, 6G bands), the device is designed to transmit signals from the output of the modulator (L-frequency range) to the satellite communication antenna (Q-frequency range). It works as part of a mobile satellite communication station, as part of a wearable satellite communication station, as part of a stationary satellite communication station.
-A system for non-invasive diagnosis of bronchopulmonary diseases, which allows to localize sputum and other heterogeneous formations in the patient's lungs, the presence of which indicates diseases of the bronchopulmonary system. Information about the size and position of inhomogeneities allows not only to diagnose diseases, but also to monitor changes in the patient's condition.
The exhibition also featured a joint project of Radiomera LLC and the Engineering Center "Microwave Technologies of Electrodynamic Structures" at the SFedU "Microwave Power Amplifier".
Modular Measuring Solutions LLC was also interested in the competencies of the Southern Federal University. Representatives of the SFedU held talks on possible cooperation in the preparation of laboratory and practical work on the study of microwave radio transmitting devices.
