On April 9, the First Session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "Language and Translation in the context of intercultural communication" began its work: current issues and modern aspects". The conference is held in a remote format on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The conference is organized by the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Researchers. In her welcoming speech to the conference participants, Acting Director of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Researchers Natalia Karpovskaya stressed the importance of the conference as a platform for exchanging experience and opinions, as well as for discussing and testing the results of research of undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists; the special interdisciplinary nature of the event was also noted.
On the first day of the sections, the participants presented a variety of reports on the traditions and innovations in the process of teaching foreign languages, current problems of intercultural communication, linguoculturological and cognitive-pragmatic aspects of translation, etc.
The conference was attended not only by undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists of the Southern Federal University, but also by representatives of the Peoples ' Friendship University of Russia, Kazan Federal University, Gomel State University named after Francysk Skaryna, etc.
On April 10, the work of the First Session of the conference continued.
