Welcome programme, cultural and social events

We organise a series of welcome events and orientation meetings for all our exchange students arriving from overseas. Our welcome programme is to help you meet other students from around the world and introduce you to Southern Federal University and its services, facilities, immigration and visas, registration, academic and social life. The programme includes tailor made presentations, social activities and day trips designed specifically for exchange students to give you a smooth and exciting transition to student life in Russia.

SFedU International Student Club brings together students from different cultures and backgrounds to create a supportive campus environment and make adjustment to university life less daunting. Our International Student Club offers trips, classes, cultural events and activities, volunteering opportunities to promote international friendships on campus. You will have the opportunity to take advantage of many social events and occasional international friends meetings where students can make friends and explore each others cultures.
