The OTHA Spring 2024 International workshop was held at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (Yerevan).
The Workshop OTHA Spring 2024 conference was held from April 21 to 25, 2024 in cooperation with the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. The organizers and co-chairs of the organizing committee: Alexey Karapetyants (Professor of the Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science and Director of the RSC SFedU) and R.G. Aramyan (Director of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia). The conference is organized within the framework of the activities of the Development Program of the Russian Federal University of Economics.
The conference was attended by scientists and specialists in the field of operator analysis and theory from 9 countries, including: Changping Li (China), Alexander Meskhi (Georgia), Alexey Karapetyants (Russia), Rafik Arumyan (Armenia), Helmut Malonek (Portugal), Zhirayr Avetisyan (Belgium), Armenak Babayan (Armenia), Milos Arsenovich (Serbia), Ilya Liflyand (Israel), Anatoly Golberg (Israel), Francisco Garcia-Pacheco (Spain), Grigory Karagulyan (Armenia), Armen Vagharshakyan (Armenia), Alexander Skubachevsky (Russia), Maria Skopina (Russia), Zalina Kusraeva (Russia).
A meeting of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Armenia was held in parallel with the workshop. On behalf of the participants of the OTHA Spring 2024 conference, President of the Armenian Academy of Sciences Ashot Sagyan was presented with a special issue of the Journal of Mathematical Sciences, prepared following the results of a similar conference last year and dedicated to the anniversary of the Academy of Sciences.
Director of the RSEMC SFedU A.N. Karapetyants also took part in meetings at the Academy of Sciences and in a joint conference of physicists from JINR (Dubna) and the Yerevan Institute of Physics.
As a result of the workshop, a special issue in the journals Journal of Mathematical Sciences (Springer Nature) and Lobachevsky Journal of Mathematics (Kazan) is in the process of formation.
The OTHA Spring and OTHA Fall workshops are held in the spring and winter of each year and are part of the OTHA conference series.
