The following higher educational institutions of our region took part in the competition: SFedU, RSEU /RINH, RSUPS, RSMU, IUBiP and DSTU.

The SFedU chess team was represented by:

- Maxim Alpin, 1st year student of the Institute of Earth Sciences;

- Yaroslava Nikitina, 1st year student of the Faculty of Physics;

 - Nikolay Pavlov, postgraduate student of the Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security, 1 year of study;

- Vladislav Sipetin, 4th year student at the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication;

- Anna Shtepa, 2nd year student of the Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security.

Competition results:

1) SFedU (Nikolay Pavlov, Vladislav Sipetin, Anna Shtepa, Yaroslav Nikitina).

2) RSUPS (Konstantin Bibik, Batu-Tumer Batorov, Ekaterina Voloshina, Anastasia Ivanova).

3) DSTU (Rajab Nagmetullaev, Maxim Borisov, Angelika Avedyan, Karina Shuaiba).

In the individual competition among men, Vladislav Sipetin (SFFU), a 4th-year student, master of FIDE, won. In second place is a graduate student of the 1st year of the SFedU Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security, master of FIDE Nikolay Pavlov (SFedU). The third was Maxim Borisov (DSTU).
