On the first day of the school, master classes were held for teachers of the STEMLAB IT school on practical sports robotics. In the afternoon in the House of Culture of Gagra deputy. Director of the Research Institute of Robotics and Control Processes Evgeny Kosenko and senior lecturer of the Department of Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control Alexander Nomerchuk introduced schoolchildren and teachers of Gagra and Gagra district with an excursion into robotics, achievements in the field of robotics, competitive robotics in Russia, as well as with the areas of training at SFedU. Special attention was paid to the College of Applied Vocational Education of the SFedU and the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control, which prepare students in the areas of mechatronics and robotics.

On the second and third days of work, master classes were held at the STEMLAB IT school, where the Rescue Line training competition platform was equipped with a presentation of robotics capabilities, as well as autonomous and mobile platforms based on Arduino microcontrollers were brought. It is noteworthy that part of the master classes is Kirill Superechenko, a fourth-year student of the SFedU Vocational Training College, who in the past was already a prize-winner of international robotics competitions, and now trains and prepares college teams to participate in RoboCup-Rescue competitions. During the last two days of the school's work, the children were able to assemble and program a robot for driving along the lane on their own. There is still a lot of work ahead.

After graduating from the IT school, all the robots and the training ground remained in Gagra to continue working and training the guys. The most distinguished students will have the opportunity to participate in the regional qualifying stage of the international robotics competitions RoboCup-Rescue, which will be held in the spring of 2023 in the village of Dombay, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, organized by the Research Institute SFedU. In addition, those who wish will be able to enroll and continue their path in robotics at the College of Vocational Training of the the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control SFedU in the direction of "Mechatronics and mobile robotics".

Now schoolchildren from Gagra and Gagra now have the opportunity to assemble and program robots themselves, learn in practice the structure and functionality of sensors and devices from which you can assemble your own robot.

The project was organized by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Abkhazia together with specialists of the Southern Federal University with the support of the Foundation for Educational and Information Technologies and the Internet provider "Gagra-Telecom". This year it is held only in the Gagra district, but next year it is planned that the organizers will cover the whole republic.
