On December 15, at the State University of Management (Moscow), as part of the Academic Reserve educational program, the President of the Southern Federal University, Professor Marina Borovskaya, will hold an open lecture on the main trends in science and education in a changing world.

In her lecture "New Horizons of Science — Managing One's Own Development", Marina Borovskaya will share with the audience how the goals of scientific research and educational programs of Russian universities correlate with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, how the Priority 2030 development program helps to respond to global civilizational challenges, as well as what a "digital image" is, and how it should be with a modern scientist.

Participants of the Science Week of the State University of Management (SUM) will be able to learn what is necessary in the modern world to train a personnel management reserve in the field of science and education, how it is possible to improve the competencies of managers of scientific and educational organizations of higher education.

The university community becomes the operator and inspirer of a professional conversation about education management in the context of modern challenges and global changes. The President of the SFedU emphasized this in her speech at the forum "Transformation of Education", and in her lecture at the three-day marathon from the Russian Society "Knowledge", and at other venues where young scientists and talented youth gather. Now the "professional conversation" will be held with the participants of the Academic Reserve educational program.

The event will be attended by the Rector of SUM Vladimir Stroev, representatives of the personnel reserve of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, young scientists and teachers of SUM.

Marina Borovskaya is also the chairman of the Expert Council at the State Duma of Russia. The Expert Council is a newly created permanent advisory body under the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
