The SFedU specialist gave a lecture at Yeditepe University in Istanbul

At the invitation of Yeditepe University (Istanbul) Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Humanities Studies (CMGI) On October 5, Veronika Tsybenko held an open lecture on Turkology and Caucasian studies for students and teachers of the university.

Russian Language and Literature Department Head, well-known translator of Russian classical literature into Turkish, Julia Arslan, organized the lecture. The lecturer in a combined face-to-face and online format told the first and second year students about the peculiarities of the Turkological and Turkological schools of Russia, the methods of teaching Turkish at SFedU, the specifics of the implementation of the master's program "Turkey and the Caucasian macroregion: socio-political and ethno-confessional processes" and the research of CMGI in the field of Oriental and Caucasian studies.

At the same time, a research intern at CMGI Elena Pogulyaeva conducted conversations with students studying in the preparatory program for admission to the 1st year, and assisted in Russian language classes.
