The meeting was attended by the staff of the Smart Materials Research Center, the Academy of Biology and Biotechnologies, the Faculty of Economics and the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communications.

Representatives of SFedU structural divisions told about scientific, educational and cultural projects implemented together with German partners. During the meeting, issues of cooperation development in the field of exchange programs, participation in DAAD programs, competitions held by German scientific foundations were discussed.

Acting Vice-Rector for Innovation Activities and International Cooperation Evgeny Mukhanov noted that the Southern Federal University had longstanding  experience of fruitful cooperation in different fields of knowledge with scientific and educational organizations of Germany and was ready to take all opportunities to strengthen and expand this interaction. Mr. Mathias Roth expressed willingness to support new projects and cooperation between SFedU and German colleagues.
