Among the advantages of this study program are:

  • The direction of training is included in the list of priority directions of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated January 6, 2015 No. 7-R. The program is compiled taking into account the requirements of specialized enterprises, which guarantees the employment of graduates. Together with the Department of Automation Technology in Business and 1C LLC, a Laboratory of 1C Technology in Industrial Automation was organized. Together with industrial partners: LLC NIL AP: the Laboratory of Automation and Internet of Things, the Laboratory of Industrial Electronics and SMART devices, the Laboratory of software and cloud technologies in automation are organized; the Laboratory of automatic control systems and robotics on the basis of which undergraduates participate in project and research work is organized by NCB MIUS.
  • Undergraduates take an active part in project activities, joining mixed student project teams as a Team Leader. Solving tasks within the framework of project activities, undergraduates gain experience in team management and innovative projects. Project topics are provided by industrial partners and implemented on the basis of the laboratory. The results of projects are presented in open defense to customers, students regularly take prizes at conferences of various levels, take part in competitions, receive patents of the Russian Federation for inventions. During the first semester, all undergraduates are assigned by scientific supervisors who accompany them for the entire period of study. The department holds an annual conference of students, young scientists and postgraduates, which is attended by students of universities in Russia and countries of the near and far abroad of the DPR, Mongolia, Syria, Uzbekistan. A number of teachers involved in the implementation of specialized disciplines of the program have a foreign language level B2, which allows them to form professional competencies with simultaneous improvement of language competence.

Prospects. Career & Employment

An analysis of the employment of graduates in this field of training over the past 2 years allows us to conclude that every year about 6% of graduates continue their studies in graduate school, which is determined by the necessary level of preparation for research activities, more than 90% of graduates are employed in the specialty in engineering industries, including as department heads / project managers. Advantages in employment are determined
