Purpose of this educational program

The program is aimed at applicants with B2+ level a foreign language proficiency and who want to "pump up" their competencies in the field of creating texts of different genres using standard communicative strategies and skills of independent creativity (storytelling, art criticism, copywriting, etc.) to work in the field of creative and cultural industries, support business projects (including publishing), communication departments of international companies.

Among the advantages of this study program:

  • The uniqueness of this program lies in the ability to choose the most interesting educational track and determine the set of competencies yourself: acquire theoretical knowledge and practical experience in creating creative and/or "selling" text, acquire skills of philological support in Russian and foreign languages, become a specialist practitioner in the field of communication, based on the analysis of the modern cultural environment to initiate successful projects ; that is, to acquire competencies that are fundamentally necessary in the modern labor market.
  • The training consists of: the basic part, which makes up 30% of the educational program, which will allow you to gain fundamental knowledge in the field of philological research (literature and communication in different environments), to increase the level of communicative competence in the main foreign language to a confident C1+; the variable part, which makes up 50% of the complexity of the educational program, which will allow students to determine the direction of their own educational trajectory (applied communications in a foreign language and/or creative writing, art criticism in Russian), as well as work within the framework of practices and projects: work with a supervisor throughout the learning process (20% of the complexity educational program) will allow to practically form professional competencies chosen by students. Students are offered: the practice of writing creative texts (story, script, adaptation), texts for media and original "selling" texts (copywriting), practice as an art critic, author or curator of cultural projects, practice in the publishing business, working with cases.

Graduates of the program can be authors of creative and "selling" texts, copywriters, literary critics, book producers. They will be able to provide philological support for the activities of Russian and international companies, cultural institutions, as well as organizations associated with educational and publishing activities. This program will also allow you to work in educational institutions or continue scientific work on postgraduate programs in the field of research of modern communications and sociology of literature.
