Purpose of this educational program

Training of a primary school teacher whose professional competencies meet the challenges of the time, capable of innovative professional activity, possessing the necessary level of methodological culture, research thinking and formed readiness for lifelong education.

The educational and professional significance of the program is determined by the increasing need for primary school teachers due to the increase in the number of schoolchildren coming to primary school and, consequently, numerous requests from educational institutions for primary school teachers. Recently, teachers with higher education, whose profile is not focused on primary school, have been coming to primary school. The Master's program helps to meet the needs of primary schools for specialists who meet the requirements of the professional standard, as well as the new demands of educational institutions for the training of primary school teachers in accordance with the requirements of society and the state.

Teacher training involves students obtaining professional knowledge and forming the necessary competencies in the field of primary education. A graduate can always get a job in educational institutions, first of all, as an elementary school teacher. He\she can be a head teacher, a school principal, as well as a methodologist or mentor at the elementary school level. A graduate may also be in demand in the field of additional education, as well as in the service sector (tutor, etc.) both in Russia and abroad. An expanded set of professional competencies also opens up a wide horizon for the development of a specialist in the field of scientific activity related to the development of problems and technologies in the field of primary education.
