Marina Borovskaya, President of the Southern Federal University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, has been appointed scientific director of the RAO innovation platform for training personnel for socially significant industries in the context of macro-regional educational clusters.
The relevant decision was made at the first meeting of the renewed Presidium of the Russian Academy of Education. During the meeting, the participants approved an innovative platform on the topic "Formation of skills for the professional future and advanced training for socially significant industries in the context of macro-regional educational clusters".
The participants also discussed the key areas of the Academy's activities in the near future. The new composition of the presidium, formed following the results of the last elections, brought together leading scientists in the field of pedagogy, psychology and the sciences of education.
The approved innovation platform is aimed at solving the tasks formulated in the Strategy of Scientific and technological development of the country. Its activities will focus on integrating the efforts of universities, scientific organizations and employers to train specialists capable of meeting modern challenges.
It is planned that under the leadership of Marina Borovskaya, the work of the site will contribute to the formation of a modern system of advanced training, which will strengthen the link between science, education and the real sector of the economy in the macroregions.
