The event brought together design students, government officials, industry representatives, and anyone interested in modern fashion and the development of creative industries.

Among the honored guests of the event were State Duma Deputy Ekaterina Stenyakina and SFedU Rector Inna Shevchenko.

As part of the evening, the author's collections of students of the Department of Design of the SFedU Academy of Architecture and Arts were presented, including: "Thread of Time", "Empire", "Eden", "Soul of Bamboo", Hedone, "Rogersia" and "History of the Present", as well as blocks with urban clothing and models of pret-a-porter de luxe. The young designers demonstrated a variety of creative approaches, from conceptual images to models focused on the real market. The show became not only a platform for self-expression, but also an opportunity to express themselves to the professional community.

"I am happy to wear clothes from Don brands. And it is especially interesting to see what the students offer, because they have a new, fresh vision and their own view of fashion with a local flavor. I really want this show to be the starting point for the emergence of new brands. We have everything for this: the traditions of light industry, craftsmen, spare capacity, and talented young designers," Ekaterina Stenyakina shared.

Ekaterina Petrovna added that this evening highlights the potential of the regional fashion industry and its connection with the economy, and student developments can develop into full-fledged brands and give an impetus to the development of light industry.

The key event of the program was the final of the student sketch contest "Fashion ID-code". The winners were: 1st place — Anastasia Kobzeva, 2nd place — Vlada Dokukina and Olga Rimskaya, 3rd place — Bella Makhova and Kristina Baturinets.

SFedU Rector Inna Shevchenko noted that the competition was an opportunity for students to go beyond educational projects and express themselves in a professional environment. The University, in turn, forms a platform for launching the creative industry.

"The idea of the competition was born out of the understanding that the university has accumulated a lot of strong design works, from educational to author's collections. We've been preparing for a long time because this is a new format for us. It was important to create a space where students could present their work not only inside the university, but also to a wide audience. I would like to believe that for some of them this will be the beginning of the path to the creative industry," Inna Shevchenko said.

In addition to the show, considerable attention was paid to the business part. The participants discussed the prospects for the development of light industry in the region, as well as the possibility of creating a university clothing brand based on the SFedU. The issues of cooperation between the university and industrial partners, the launch of sewing industries and the promotion of student developments in the real sector of the economy were considered separately.

The SFedU fashion show has become not just a creative event, but an important professional platform where design students can demonstrate the results of their work, make themselves known to the industry and take the first steps towards building a career in fashion.

"Such shows are, first of all, a demonstration of the creative potential of students and the enormous work they put into their collections. For them, this is an opportunity to show their level of professionalism and make themselves known: industry representatives are present at the site, and the guys have a chance to be noticed and get job offers," said Natalia Chemerisova, director of the SFedU Academy of Architecture and Arts.

The event was held in a lively and creative atmosphere, becoming an important platform for dialogue between education, business and the fashion industry. It confirmed the high potential of SFedU students and their willingness to join the professional environment already at the learning stage.
