On March 27-28, the Rostov Region Student Swimming Championship was held at the Southern Meridian Sports and Recreation Complex of the Southern Federal University. The competition brought together the strongest swimmers from the region's universities, who demonstrated a high level of preparation and the will to win.
According to the results of the tournament, the first team place was won by the national team of the Southern Federal University. The second place was taken by athletes of the Rostov State University of Railway Transport (RGUPS), the third – by the Don State Technical University (DSTU). The team of the Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) took the fourth place in the standings, while Rostov State University of Economics (RINH) took the fifth place.
The victory at the regional championship was an important stage in the preparation of our team for the upcoming All-Russian starts. From July 6 to July 10, Krasnodar will host the All-Russian Universiade, where the SFedU national team will represent the Rostov region and compete for medals with the strongest student teams in the country.
