The slogan of the conference "Preserving values — revealing the meanings of childhood" set the tone for a meaningful professional discussion about modern research on the value-semantic foundations of childhood and the mechanisms of integration of education, culture and art in the context of UNESCO's decisions on the formation of a new landscape of education and teacher training.

For three days, the participants discussed modern concepts and practices on the role of culture in child development, axiological aspects of childhood, and issues of teacher training for the education system from the standpoint of axiological and anthropological approaches. The conference was attended by Vladimir Kirik, Director of the SFedU Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy, Professor Irina Kulikovskaya, Head of the Department of Preschool Education at the SFedU Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy, scientists from the Crimean Federal University, the Fevzi Yakubov Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University, Kuban State University, colleagues from China, the Republic of Singapore, the Republic of Belarus, representatives of pedagogical colleges and practical employees of the education system at all levels.

The plenary session was held at the site of the historical park "Russia — my story" became a space for intensive scientific dialogue, which continued in eight sections: "Axiology of education: responding to modern challenges", "Cultural codes of childhood as the basis for personal development", "Culture and Art in the global educational space", "Digital expansion as a resource for education and personal development", "From master to virtuoso": the trajectory of a teacher's professional training", "Responsible Parenting", "The Child and new cultural Landscapes: from digital folklore to family Rituals", "A Modern look at Froebel Pedagogy: traditions and innovations in the cultural and educational space of childhood".

A special event of the program was the Preschool Festival, a practical platform where new educational models, modern pedagogical technologies and cultural practices of working with children were presented. Eight master classes were held within the framework of the festival: "Superhero of your emotions", "Interactive wonders", "Child and Art", "Game Pedagogy: professions of the future", "The Name of love", "Music of numbers: rhythm, harmony, counting", "Bodily intelligence", "Theories of small universes", focused on the development of emotional intelligence, creative thinking, research activity and cultural sensitivity of children and adolescents.

The cultural and educational event "Games of our Childhood" became a bright focus of the conference: the interactive format allowed us to demonstrate the potential of cultural practices in the development of children's subjectivity, creativity and research behavior, and also created an atmosphere of joy of playing together and celebrating Carnival.

An important feature of the conference was the active participation of children, who masterfully performed musical compositions at the opening of the forum, clearly demonstrating the main meaning of the event: childhood is a unique time of sensual discovery of the values and meanings of the world, requiring careful support from adults and the professional teaching community.
