At the forum, representatives of federal ministries, regional authorities, university leaders, experts and the business community came together to discuss the future model of higher education.
"The Forum was held for the first time at Lomonosov Moscow State University, a place of strength where all conditions are created for realizing the potential of our youth, developing their talents, and educating patriotic, socially responsible citizens," Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, said in his greeting.
Marina Borovskaya, President of the Southern Federal University, took an active part in the program of the III Forum of Non-State Education, acting as a moderator and speaker of key discussion platforms.
The mechanisms for integrating the efforts of public and private educational institutions to achieve national goals were discussed by experts during the section "Improving the quality of education in the context of state priorities," where Marina Alexandrovna moderated.
As the speaker of the section "Formation of research thinking", the SFedU President emphasized the need to train specialists who are able not only to generate knowledge, but also to turn it into market assets.
The key event was Marina Borovskaya's participation in the meeting of the Expert Council on Education and Youth Policy under Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation B.A. Chernyshov. The meeting brought together leading experts to review approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs.
In her speech, Marina Borovskaya presented theses suggesting a radical transition from assessment based on "process indicators" to assessment based on the real economic effect.
"In current practice, knowledge often does not reach the market, and young people do not see the trajectory of self-realization in the region. We propose a system where the unit of result is not a certificate, but an implementation and a contract. Entrepreneurial education should prepare people who are able to create and bring a product to demand, combining technological expertise, an economic model and legal instruments. For the region, this is a tool for retaining young people through the opportunity to create a product on the spot," the speaker emphasized.
The highlight of the forum was Marina Borovskaya's participation in the award ceremony for the winners of the National Award for Non-State Education. The SFedU President presented awards to representatives of educational organizations who demonstrated high results in the field of introducing innovative educational practices and developing research competencies among students.
The participation of the SFedU President in the Forum of Non-State Education takes the university's status beyond the discussion platform. The Southern Federal University here is not just a participant in the forum, but an ideological leader who has formed a meaningful agenda for the expert community and legislators.
