SFedU teachers are on display at the Museum of Modern History of Russia in Moscow.

The exhibition "Don artists. Collection of the Uzdenov family", was held at the Museum of Modern History of Russia on Tverskaya Street. The exhibition includes works by Sergey Eremin, Professor of the SFedU Academy of Architecture and Arts, and Alexander Semergey, Associate Professor at the Academy of Architecture and Arts.

The exhibition features one of the largest collections of Don art. About 100 paintings and  graphic works by 40 authors of the XIX–XXI centuries, including: Martiros Saryan, Nikolai Timkov, Nikolai Ovechkin, Vladimir Tokarev, Timofey Teryaev, Oleg Mayboroda and many others.

The opening ceremony was attended by Vasily Zurabovich Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, Anatoly Alexandrovich Lyubavin, Rector of the Moscow State Institute of Fine Arts named after V.I. Surikov, and Sergey Alexandrovich Gavrilyachenko, Honored Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, as well as Inna Yuryevna Svyatenko, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, and Sergey Vasilyevich Pershin, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.

At the opening day, you can see the monotype "Lilac" authored by Alexander Semergey, associate professor of the Department of Type Engineering at the  Academy of Architecture and Arts, who also became the designer of the collection catalog and the identity of the entire project, as well as the work "Stanitsa Melikhovskaya in Spring" by Sergey Eremin, professor of the Department of Type Engineering at the Academy of Architecture and Arts.

The exposition was decorated with works by famous artists, graduates of the SFedU of different years – Oleg Mayboroda, Dmitry Myasnikov, Alexander Savelenko, as well as the creations of teachers and masters of painting who worked at the SFedU, whose efforts largely shaped the modern Don school of fine arts – Vitaly Korobov and Vasily Romanenko.

The exhibition runs until January 24.
