On January 9, a lecture by Roland Duduchava, Director of the Mathematical Institute of the University of Georgia, was held as part of the regular scientific seminar of the SFedU RSEMC. The seminar was led by Professors A.N. Karapetyants and V.V. Kravchenko.
Roland Duduchava is a Professor, Director of the Kupradze Mathematical Institute of the University of Georgia, Head of the Department of the A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of Tbilisi State University, Georgia. Professor Duduchava is a long–time partner of the SFedU RSEMC, who has repeatedly participated in the events of the Mathematical Center. He is the author and co-author of 4 monographs and 109 scientific papers. His results are successfully used by researchers working with singular integral equations, pseudodifferential equations, boundary value problems, boundary value problems for elliptic differential equations, and many other problems of mathematics and its applications.
On January 9, Professor Duduchava delivered a lecture on integro-differential equations of convolution on Lie groups and their applications to some equations of mathematical physics at a seminar of the Russian Scientific Research Center of the Southern Federal University. He emphasized the role of Generic Bessel potential spaces (GBPS) in the structure underlying the Lie group. The definition of GBPS is based on general differential operators from the Lie algebra associated with the Lie group. Such general potential Bessel spaces are better suited to the study of integro-differential (or pseudodifferential) operators on Lie groups.
The seminar "Seminar on Analysis, Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics" was attended by about forty mathematicians - specialists from the world's leading scientific and educational centers in Russia and other countries, including graduate students and students of the SFedU Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science and young scientists.
Online scientific seminar of the Regional Scientific and Educational Mathematical Center (https://rmc.sfedu.ru /) is held regularly every two weeks, announcements of new seminars and videos of previous seminars are available on the website http://msrn.sfedu.ru/sl . The seminar features leading researchers from around the world whose research interests are related to analysis, differential equations, and mathematical physics. The scientific seminar of the mathematical center is open, everyone can take part in it.
The language of the seminar is English.
