On December 15, the final chess tournament within the framework of the SFedU Universiade took place at the Southern Meridian Chess Club.
The tournament was attended by students who passed the qualifying stage of the chess competitions. The participants, demonstrating a high level of skill, played exciting games. As a result of a hard struggle, Alexander Egorov (Faculty of Economics) became the winner among men, demonstrating a brilliant game and solid knowledge of chess strategy; Ekaterina Donchenko (Academy of biology and biotechnology) became the winner among girls.
