The Forum was held from October 3 to 5 at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia in Moscow.
The forum brought together scientists who deal with the problems of modern linguoculturology and sociolinguistics.

Lumumba RUDN, Angela Dolzhikova, member of the Presidential Council for the Implementation of state Policy in the field of support of the Russian Language and Languages of the Peoples of the Russian Federation, Vice President of the Russian Society of Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature, leading expert of the Russkiy Mir Foundation addressed the participants of the Forum with a welcoming speech", Director of the Institute of the Russian Language of the RUDN named after P. Russian Language and Literature Teachers Association (MAPRYAL), President of the Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (ROPRYAL), Mammad Tagaev, Professor, Director of the Institute of the Russian Language named after A.O. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation, Tatyana Mlechko, foreign member of the Russian Academy of Education, Chairman of the Moldovan Society of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MOPRYAL), member of the Presidium of MAPRYAL, expert on language and national policy of the European International Organization for the support of children's bilingualism, coordinator of scientific projects, Nikolay Alefirenko, Russian Language and Literature Department Professor, Faculty of History and Philology, Belgorod State National Research University, member of the Phraseological Commission at the International Committee of Slavists, full member of the Russian Academy of Social Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Head of the scientific school "Cognitive Linguoculturology".
The forum was devoted to theoretical problems and applied aspects of linguoculturology in the 21st century. The Forum included the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Linguistic and Cultural Readings" and the scientific seminar "Socio-cultural adaptation and intercultural communication: the Russian language in the interdisciplinary field of scientific research".
Inna Kovtunenko, Professor of the Department of Applied Conflictology and Mediation at the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University, Head of the Center for National Cultures, made a presentation on "Masculinity as a linguistic and cultural category in media texts."
