The Tuan Hoang is a Ph.D., professor at the Institute of Mathematics of the Vietnamese Academy of Sciences and Technology, Vietnam. He is also the author of more than a hundred scientific publications. His research interests include such branches of mathematics as integral and differential calculus, applied and computational mathematics, etc.

On May 16, Professor Hoang gave a lecture at the seminar of the RSEMC of the Southern Federal University on the separation of solutions and systems with a positive linear delay of fractional order with variable coefficients. He considered the separation of solutions of positive linear delay systems of mixed order with variable coefficients and lower estimates of the separation of solutions of these systems. Professor Hoang gave an accurate description of the rate of convergence of solutions to their equilibrium in some special cases. In addition, to illustrate the reliability of the theoretical results, the lecturer demonstrated the results of numerical modeling.

The seminar "Seminar on Analysis, Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics" was attended by about thirty mathematicians - specialists from leading scientific and educational centers of the world in Russia and other countries, including graduate students and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Southern Federal University and young scientists.
