67 teams of universities, academies and institutes from Russia and Belarus took part in the tournament.

As a result, the team of the Belarusian National Technical University won with a score of 25.5 points out of 33 possible. Three teams shared the second place with a score of 24 points, but according to additional indicators, the silver medalists were the chess players of the Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don), and the bronze ones were the Southern Federal University (Consisting of: Nikolay Pavlov, graduate student of the Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security, Maxim Alpin, 2nd year student of the Institute of Earth Sciences, Alexander Egorov, 1st year student of the Faculty of Economics). The captain of the team is Associate professor of the Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security Elmar Valerievich.
