"Rapunzel: a tangled story" is the plot of an animated film that tells about a girl who dreams of getting out of a high tower to fulfill her main dream – to see lanterns that are lit in the evening sky once a year, on her birthday. In realizing this dream, Rapunzel is helped by Flynn Ryder, a thief with a heart of gold.

The main roles were played by students of the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication of the Southern Federal University Arina Sapegina and Andrey Himanov.

"Playing the role of Rapunzel was my dream. In 2022, when the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology staged this spring, unfortunately, I did not get to the casting, but two years later I finally managed to close the gestalt. Two dreams will come true on stage today: Rapunzel will see flashlights, and I will play this role," Arina Sapegina shared her emotions before the performance.

Andrey Bedrick, Director of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University, also took part in the student spring. He played the role of Andreas Valdemarovich, the owner of the tavern, where the main characters get to during their journey.

In this musical number, the director of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies performed several songs related to the structural unit. With special delight, the audience and students of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University met a song about the main problem of their structural unit – the elevator.

The adventures of Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder in the reading of the students of SFedU surprised with an unusual and beautiful production, for example, the audience themselves became participants in the number in which the main characters still saw those very lights. Everyone in the hall was given a special box that glowed in the dark.

SFedU Student Spring is a celebration of life and creativity, where students can express themselves brightly and loudly, and the actors of the Rapunzel concert did not miss this opportunity.

The Institute of Nanotechnology, Electronics and Instrumentation of the Southern Federal University and the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Management of the Southern Federal University with the production of "Dasha the Traveler" will be next in the framework of the "Student Spring 2024".
