Russian Language Department for Foreign Students of the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication of the Southern Federal University from March 18 to May 19, 2024 is holding an International Olympiad for foreign students in Russian as a foreign language "Language is the path of civilization and Culture". The Olympiad will be co-organized by the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. Abdullah Kadiri (Uzbekistan), Faculty of Al-Alsun Luxor University (Egypt), Henan University (China).
The theme of the Olympiad is "The treasure of the people in their language" and it is held in order to strengthen the position of the Russian language and increase interest in its study.
The Olympiad will be held in two stages:
Round 1 — qualifying (remote) — from March 18 to March 31, 2024;
Round 2 — to determine the winners (mixed format) — from April 15 to April 28, 2024
The winners will be awarded from May 13 to May 19.
Undergraduate and graduate students can take part in the Olympiad.
To participate in the Olympiad, you must:
1st year of Bachelor's degree: from March 18 to March 31, follow the link: https://olimp.sfedu.ru/course/view.php?id=413 , fill out the questionnaire and answer the questions of the Olympiad.
2-3 bachelor's degree course: from March 18 to March 31, follow the link: https://olimp.sfedu.ru/course/view.php?id=414 , fill out the questionnaire and answer the questions of the Olympiad.
4th year and undergraduates: from March 18 to March 31, follow the link: https://olimp.sfedu.ru/course/view.php?id=412 , fill out the questionnaire and answer the questions of the Olympiad.
The participants will be notified about the results of the first stage of the Olympiad on April 1-5, the winners will be invited to the second stage.
The winners of the International Olympiad for Foreign Students in Russian as a Foreign Language "Language is the path of civilization and Culture" will receive memorable prizes and diplomas.
