The main character is a twelve–year-old boy Miguel. He lives in a small Mexican village in a family of shoemakers and secretly dreams of becoming a musician. But in his family clan, music is banned, it is considered a curse. Therefore, Miguel must take a risk to make his dream come true.

Make-up artists tried on the appearance of the speakers. The students have prepared stunning costumes and unusual decorations, having sustained everything in the style of a cartoon.
