SFedU scientists received grants from the Russian Science Foundation

The Competition Commission of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the competition for the right to receive grants from the President of the Russian Federation for state support of young Russian scientists in 2022.

Ten scientific projects of scientists of the Southern Federal University received grant support in the priority area of activity of the Russian Science Foundation "Conducting fundamental scientific research and exploratory scientific research by individual scientific groups" (No. 68). Among them:

  • The project of the Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Alexander Basan "Technology for ensuring cybersecurity from destructive effects on critical information infrastructure objects";
  • Project of Institute for Mathematics, Mechanics,​​ ​​​​​and Computer Science in the name of I.I. Vorovich of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Alexander Vatulyan "Development of deformation models and methods for identifying the properties of functional gradient materials for various purposes, taking into account the scale factor, rheology, temperature and piezoelectric effect, optimization of their inhomogeneous properties";
  • The project of Institute for Mathematics, Mechanics,​​ ​​​​​and Computer Science in the name of I.I. Vorovich of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Andrey Nasedkin "Modeling of hydroacoustic piezoelectric converters and piezo generators of "green energy" with active elements made of composite piezoceramics";
  • The project of the Faculty of Physics of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Sergey Roshal "Physical principles of self-assembly of viruses and their interaction with the environment, including materials suitable for the creation of antiviral filters"
  • The project of the Faculty of Physics of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Leon Avakian "Atomic structure on the scale of the near and medium order of boron oxide-based glasses - new materials for photonics and laser technology";
  • The project of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Igor Uflyand "Sensor materials based on metal polymer nanocomposites";
  • Project of the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Vladimir Lysenko "Study of kinetic parameters of fluorescence and light adsorption by photosynthetic plants under the influence of natural and artificial environmental factors";
  • The project of the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Pavel Ermakov "Research of psychosocial and genetic factors of the psycho-emotional state of cancer patients in the process of psychological support in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic";
  • Project of the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Yuri Yukhanov "Analysis and synthesis of reflectors and antennas based on anisotropic impedance structures and metasurfaces with specified radiation and scattering characteristics";
  • The project of the Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Yulia Lipko "Development of a system methodology for designing user interface design tools that reflect the meaning of the system management process".

In addition, three scientific collectives of scientific staff of the SFU won the competition for the extension of the deadlines for the implementation of projects supported by grants from the Russian Science Foundation in the priority area of activity of the Russian Science Foundation "Conducting fundamental scientific research and exploratory scientific research by individual scientific groups".

  • The project of the Research Institute of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Vladimir Minkin "Heteropentacenes - new photostable sensitizers for the third generation of solar cells: synthesis, theoretical modeling and structural optimization";
  • The project of the Research Institute of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Anatoly Metelitsa "New chromogenic properties of spiropyrans due to the barochromic effect";
  • The International Research Institute of Intelligent Materials of the Southern Federal University under the leadership of Alexander Soldatov "Nanocomposites for X-ray photodynamic therapy of deep tumors in oncology".
