SFedU participates in the Forum of Science Popularizers

The Russian Ministry of Education and Science will host the All-Russian Forum of Science Popularizers, which will be held on May 18 from 10:00 to 17:00.

 

 

Experts in the field of scientific communication in Russia, Great Britain, Poland and Greece will gather on one platform to discuss the priorities and prospects for the popularization of science in Russia.

Among the invited speakers are British chemist and popularizer of science Sir Martin Polyakoff, Professor of Space Physics at the University of Athens Xenophon Moussas, nuclear physicist, Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Academician Grigory Trubnikov, Vice-President of the Russian University of Chemical Technology. Mendeleev professor Yulia Gorbunova.

Representatives of the largest corporations, popular science projects, businesses, charitable foundations, scientific journalists and representatives of the directorate of the All-Russian NAUKA 0+Festival will also speak at the Forum. They will share their experience in organizing and conducting popular science events, talk about the need to establish international scientific communications and close interaction with representatives of the regions.

The forum will end with a Business game on the organization of popular science events in the given conditions. All participants will receive certificates.

The event will be held as part of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia. The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation with the support of Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the NAUKA 0+project.
