Interim Rector Inna Shevchenko, Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences Andrei Kuznetsov and Acting Vice-Rector for Innovation Activities and International Cooperation Evgeny Mukhanov peresented the Southern Federal University. 

A round table discussion “Ecology. Tourism. Science and culture: interaction space" took place as a part of the event. While the event, the SFedU and the University of Nantes joint project on studying the dynamics of self-purification of oil-polluted coasts and their vulnerability assessment was presented.

During the round table, the President of the University of Nantes, Mr. Olivier Laboux, praised the cooperation with SFedU, which has been developing for more than ten years. There is a number of joint projects:  more than 20 joint publications and 4 candidate and doctoral theses.
