Program Overview:

The implementation of scientific (research) activities by a graduate student under the guidance of a scientific supervisor in order to prepare a dissertation for defense for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Persons with at least higher education (specialty or master's degree) are allowed to master the postgraduate program, including persons with education received in a foreign country recognized in the Russian Federation. Admission to graduate school is based on the results of entrance examinations. The University has the right to equate the results of the relevant entrance tests for admission to the postgraduate program in the following cases - the winner of the SFedU grant for postgraduate studies, conducted in accordance with the established procedure and approved by local regulatory documents of the University, the presence of the Yurii Zhdanov medal "The best graduate of the University", diploma holder (winner, prize-winner) The All-Russian Olympiad of students "I am a professional".

The postgraduate educational program determines the planned results of its development; the results of scientific (research) activities, the results of mastering disciplines (modules), the results of practical training. As a result of mastering the program in the scientific specialty of the scientific specialty 5.2.4 Finance, the graduate must have the following competencies:

• The ability to critically analyze and evaluate modern scientific achievements, generate new ideas in solving research and practical problems, including in interdisciplinary fields.
• The ability to design and carry out comprehensive research, including interdisciplinary, based on a holistic systematic scientific worldview using knowledge in the field of history and philosophy of science.
• Willingness to participate in the work of Russian and international research teams in solving scientific and scientific-educational tasks.
• Willingness to use modern methods and technologies of scientific communication in the state and foreign languages.
• Willingness to teach in the main educational programs of higher education.
• The ability to independently plan, organize and conduct scientific research that has theoretical and applied significance in the field of public finance, finance of business entities, financial markets, the monetary system, and the activities of financial and credit organizations.
