Program Overview:
Training of highly qualified research and teaching staff capable of solving:
- conceptual (fundamental) problems of economics, including the study of national and foreign economic institutions, the effective use of economic analysis methods;
- applied problems of functioning of various economic agents, markets and other economic institutions, economic and social systems, and their effective management.
The postgraduate educational program determines the planned results of its development; the results of scientific (research) activities, the results of mastering disciplines (modules), the results of practical training. As a result of mastering the program in the scientific specialty 5.2.1. Economic theory, the graduate must have the following competencies:
- The ability to critically analyze and evaluate modern scientific achievements, generate new ideas in solving research and practical problems, including in interdisciplinary fields.
- The ability to design and carry out comprehensive research, including interdisciplinary, based on a holistic systematic scientific worldview using knowledge in the field of history and philosophy of science.
- Willingness to participate in the work of Russian and international research teams in solving scientific and scientific-educational tasks.
- Willingness to use modern methods and technologies of scientific communication in the state and foreign languages.
- Willingness to teach in the main educational programs of higher education.
- The ability to identify, formulate and apply model tools for the study of scientific problems in the field of micro- and macroeconomic theory.
- The ability to form an algorithm for developing a mechanism and tools in the field of institutional, behavioral and evolutionary economic theory in the context of analyzing alternatives and prospects for socio-economic development.
