Program Overview:

Training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel capable of carrying out research and teaching activities based on deep fundamental and applied knowledge in the field of information systems.

The objectives of mastering the discipline "Informatics and information processes" is to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities that contribute to successful scientific activity, research and work in the field of improving the principles of organizing information systems of processes. "Informatics and information processes" is a discipline that studies theoretical, technical, software, information aspects of ensuring the functioning of systems and the implementation of processes for generating, collecting, storing, processing, searching, transmitting, presenting and reproducing information to improve the efficiency of information technologies and systems, as well as information resource management systems in scientific, economic, management and other types of purposeful activities.

Training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel capable of:

- to solve professional tasks in accordance with the scientific specialty;

- to engage in research and teaching activities in educational programs of higher education in the field of computer science and computer engineering;

- to improve and develop their professional skills and general cultural level;

- organize research teams, take initiative and take responsibility in solving complex scientific and technical problems;

- to contribute to the development of the features of the scientific school of the Southern Federal University.
