Program Overview:

Training of highly qualified highly qualified personnel in the field of the history of philosophy, solving research, scientific and pedagogical professional tasks, capable of innovative activities in the field of science, education, culture, management, etc. Main tasks:

• the development of graduate students' personal qualities and the formation of professional competencies in accordance with the scientific specialty 5.7.7 Social and political philosophy;
• formation of a model of professional and personal growth, high professional culture of scientific and research activities of future highly qualified specialists in the field of science, education and culture;
• formation of skills for independent research and teaching activities through in-depth study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of philosophy, improvement of philosophical education, including those focused on professional activity; in-depth study of theoretical and methodological socio-philosophical, religious studies, philosophical-cultural, historical-philosophical and ontological aspects;
• improving philosophical training focused on professional activity and improving knowledge of a foreign language for use in scientific and professional activities.

The implementation of the postgraduate program combines fundamentality, universality, high cultural level, practical and theoretical orientation implies the development of such professionally significant personal qualities among graduate students as flexibility of thinking, concentration and switchability of attention, accuracy of perception, logical thinking, the ability to generalize, creative imagination, interest in achieving maximum results of scientific and teaching activities.

The postgraduate educational program determines the planned results of its development - the results of scientific (research) activities, the results of mastering disciplines (modules), the results of practical training. As a result of mastering the program in the scientific specialty 5.7.7 Social and Political Philosophy, the graduate must have the following competencies:

1. The ability to critically analyze and evaluate modern scientific achievements, generate new ideas in solving research and practical problems, including in interdisciplinary fields.
2. The ability to design and carry out comprehensive research, including interdisciplinary, based on a holistic systematic scientific worldview using knowledge in the field of history and philosophy of science.
3. Willingness to participate in the work of Russian and international research teams in solving scientific and scientific-educational tasks.
4. Willingness to use modern methods and technologies of scientific communication in the state and foreign languages.
5. Willingness to teach in the main educational programs of higher education.
6. The ability to comprehensively perceive the problems of social and political philosophy in the unity of all its scientific parts and research directions.
7. Willingness to understand the nature of society, the causes and factors of its dynamic development, the features of the structure of the social organism and the relationship between its elements.
