Ecology and Natural Recourse Management

Bachelor's Degree (BSc), Institute of Earth sciences

05.03.06 Ecology and Natural Recourse Management

Program Overview

Right now, there aren't really any industries that aren't covered by environmental regulations. Whether it's building, rebuilding, or even shutting down a business, you have to assess the current state of the environment and think about the environmental impact of your plans. Environmental regulations also apply to businesses, so there's a need for designing and environmental documents. You need to get these approved to get the necessary permits from the government agencies that monitor the environment.

Another aspect of this is supporting the environmental side of mining, which will be a big part of our economy for a long time. So, there's an increased demand for people who know how to make sure businesses are following environmental rules. These experts can work for government agencies that oversee ecology and natural resources.
