Machine Learning algorithms are the programs that can learn the hidden patterns from the data, predict the output, and improve the performance from experiences on their own. Different algorithms can be used in machine learning for different tasks, such as simple linear regression that can be used for prediction problems like stock market prediction, and the KNN algorithm can be used for classification problems.

Dr. Amit Sharma is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security, Southern Federal University (SFedU), Rastov-on-Don, Russia. Southern Federal University is one of the largest scientific and educational centers in Russia since 1915. Dr. Amit Sharma is an Indian born native of Palampur, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. He received his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab, India. He received Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sharda University, UP, India in 2015. While he was in his M.Tech program, he was quite interested in research and therefore decided to contribute toward research on application of WSNs and IoT. He continued his higher study and joined doctoral program in Computer Science Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan, HP, India in 2017. During his doctoral studies, he has worked in project supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under the supervision of Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh. He has also worked as teaching assistant at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan, HP, India. After completing his doctoral research in 2020, he joined as an Assistant Professor at Chitkara University, Punjab, India in 2021. He served his services for 1.6 Years as an academician and 3.5 years as researcher. Currently, he joined Southern Federal University (SFEDU), Rastov-on-Don, Russia for doing further research. His research interests are Applications of Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Image Processing.
