Doing Business in Russia: Perspectives, Challenges and Opportunities

The Summer School “Doing Business in Russia: Perspectives, Challenges and Opportunities" is held in English jointly by the Lodz University of Technology (Poland) and Cattaneo University (Italy). Among the lecturers are practicing businessmen, representatives of regional authorities and business support funds, as well as leading professors of the Southern Federal University, Lodz University of Technology and Cattaneo University. The interdisciplinary nature of the program is due to the fact that for successful business it is necessary not only to have the skills of economics, management and marketing, but also to have the skills of team building, leadership, to have the skills of intercultural communication, project work and self-presentation.

Week 1 - Acquaintance: to Russia with love (online) - 06/09/2021 - 12/09/2021

• acquaintance with the participants of the school
• presentation of requirements for the results of the final project work
• online courses in economics, management, marketing

Week 2 - How to do business in Russia: an inside view (Taganrog, Rostov-on-Don) - 13/09/2021 - 19/09/2021

• acquaintance with the university (tour of campuses in Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog)
• we learn from specialists (a series of master classes from industrial partners)
• educational modules:
  - Finance and International Business: Russian Perspective
  - Strategic management
  - Investment profile
• 4 excursions to the leading enterprises of the Rostov region
• Russia: cultural code (immersion in the culture of Russia)
• team building
• excursions

Week 3 - My first business in Russia, taking into account international practice (Divnomorsk, SFEDU Summer camp "Vityaz") - 20/09/2021 - 26/09/2021

• educational modules:
  - Effective communication and the role of a leader in modern business
  - Advertising, marketing and branding
  - Business and sustainable development
  - Oratory and presentation skills
• 2 excursions to the leading enterprises of the Krasnodar region
• project work and final defense of "own business"
• Russia: cultural code (immersion in the culture of Russia)
• team building

Fees 
For SFedU students - 22,000 rubles (300 $)
For other participants - 30,000 rubles (415 $)
