Research Area:
Trained in Bioinformatics and completed PhD in Environment Science on Human Risk Assessment of Organophosphate Toxicity by employing structural Bioinformatics and Predictive toxicology. Working in environment sector, I gained interest in environmental health and worked on several areas that dealt with soil and water health. My current research is focussed on exploring the genetic basis of the function of PGPR bacteria that are helpful in solubilization of nutrients, alleviating soil and plant health by remediation of selected pollutants. I am also exploring selected probiotic's function based on NRPS, PKS producing genes/gene clusters
