  • Utility energy
    The complexity of the discipline: 3 Zach. units; assessment form: test. Discipline can be proposed for study in 5th semester (3rd year). Knowledge, skills and competences the student should have to study this course: to Know: basic categories and concepts of communal power; to have an idea about the subject and method of the course, the place in the system of Sciences. To be able to: analyze contemporary issues and social responsibility. To possess: conceptual and categorical apparatus of the communal power of Competence, the formation of which can participate in this discipline: as a result of studying discipline the student should posses the following competencies: a) professional (PC): • ability to use basic methods of financial management for the valuation of assets, working capital management, decision-making on financing, formation of dividend policy and capital structure (PC-11); • ability to assess the impact of investment decisions and financing solutions to increase the value (cost) of the company (PK-12); • ability to assess the effectiveness of the use of different accounting systems and cost allocation; to have skills of calculation and analysis of production costs and the ability to make informed management decisions based on management accounting data (PC-41); b) special (SPC): • ability to provide implementation of state programs on increase of efficiency of control systems of housing and communal services (SPC-3).
  • Methods of energy saving in utilities
    The complexity of the discipline: 7 Zach. units; assessment form: test. Discipline can be proposed for study in the 6th semester (3rd year) and 7 semester (4 year) Knowledge, skills and competences the student should have to study this course: to Know: • standard methods of calculations, design and equipment selection of heat supply systems with the use of standard documentation and modern methods of searching and processing information; • the main sections of natural Sciences relating to the theory of the discipline of study, and to be ready to study the basic laws in professional activity, to apply methods of analysis and simulations theoretical and experimental research; be able to: • use program thermal-hydraulic calculations of heat supply systems; • analyze scientific and technical information, study domestic and foreign experience on the subject of the activity; • identify the scientific nature of the problems arising in the course of professional activity and ability to mobilize to solve them the appropriate physical-mathematical apparatus; • to form a complete understanding of the decisions taken and the results obtained in the form of a report; to Possess: • ability to use legal documents in their activities; • the ability to economic way of thinking; • understanding the main motives and mechanisms of decision-making by regulatory agencies; • ability to analyze consumer behavior economic benefits and create demand. Competence, in the formation of which can participate in this discipline: as a result of studying discipline the student should posses the following competencies: a) General cultural (OK) ability to use legal documents in its activities (OK-9); b) professional (PC): the ability to economic way of thinking (PC-26); the understanding of the underlying motives and mechanisms of decision-making by regulatory agencies (PC-28); ability to analyze consumer behavior economic benefits and create demand (PC-29); and the ability to use in practical activities of organizations information obtained through marketing research and benchmarking best practices in management (PC-36); C) special (SPC): the ability to ensure the implementation of state programs on increase of efficiency of control systems of housing and communal services (SPC-3).
