The process of studying the discipline is aimed at the formation and improvement of the communicative competence in the Spanish language; the expansion and systematization of liguistic knowledge, the expansion of the linguistic outlook and lexical stock; further mastery of the general speech culture.

History of Spanish Language
This discipline covers the main events in the historical development of the Spanish language: the history of its phonetic structure and spelling, the evolution of its grammatical system, the growth of its vocabulary, and also the changing of historical conditions of Spanish speaking communities relevant to language history.

Practical Course of Spanish Language
The aim of the discipline is to give students practical knowledge of oral and written communication in Spanish, including professional communication.
