Research interests:
Social anthropology, social archaeology, ethnic processes in ancient societies, history and archeology of the Eurasian steppes in the age of antiquity and the early Middle Ages.
Research projects:
• Robert Anderson Foundation grant for a trip to London to work at the British Library and the Library of SOAS college for July 2006.
• Grant 2012-2013, Russian Foundation for Humanities. "Tamgas Tanais and its surroundings" (the executor of the grant).
• Grant 2015. Russian Foundation for Humanities. X All-Russian archaeological conference of undergraduate and graduate students "Problems of Archeology of Eastern Europe" (the head of the grant).
• Grant 2015. Russian Foundation for Humanities. Tanais on the eve of the disaster: closed complexes of the second quarter of the III century AD. (the executor of the grant).
Russian Science Foundation. 2022-2023. Comprehensive historical-cultural and molecular-genetic study of the ancient population of the Lower Don region in the Sarmatian period (the head of the grant).
