Teaching:

  • - Sociology of public opinion
    The course is studied in a bachelor's degree in the direction 39.03.01 Sociology (academic bachelor's degree) for the 3rd year of study (6 term). The aim of the discipline is in-depth study and development of theoretical and methodological tools used in modern research of public consciousness, mastering the methods of sociological research of public opinion and public sentiments. The objective of the course is to familiarize students with classical and modern theories of public opinion, the methodology and methods of studying it, the experience of using public opinion in the practice of social management. The scope of the discipline is 5 ZET. Control form: exam.
  • - Electoral Sociology
    The course is studied in a bachelor's degree in the direction 39.03.01 Sociology (academic bachelor's degree) for the 4th year of study (8 term) and is a discipline of the student's choice. The aim of the discipline is in-depth study and mastering by students of theoretical and methodological tools used in modern sociological studies of political life and electoral behavior, mastering the skills of using sociological methods for diagnosing electoral moods and electoral behavior of citizens. The objectives of the course are to reveal the history of the study of electoral behavior, the peculiarities of the formation of methodological tools in this area of sociological knowledge, the analysis of the main approaches to the analysis of electoral processes in the region. The scope of the discipline is 5 ZET. Control form: test.
  • - Ethnosociology
    The course is studied in a bachelor's degree in the direction 39.03.01 Sociology (academic bachelor's degree) for the 3rd year of study (5 term). The aim of the course is to generalize and systematize the scientific and theoretical foundations of the sociological analysis of ethnic relations and practical tasks related to the regulation of interethnic relations. The program involves the development of key concepts and basic categories of science, historical forms of ethnicity, the structure of ethnic psychology, forms and methods of ethnic interactions. The objectives of the course are to operate with key ethnosociological concepts and categories, develop students' skills in scientific analysis of individual components of ethnic relations and organizations, practical skills to apply the knowledge gained in the analysis of modern ethnic processes, the ability to professionally assess situations of interethnic interactions, to navigate in a modern multi-ethnic environment 5 ZET. Control form: exam.
