A thematic student shift dedicated to the study of the natural and ecological potential of the mountainous and lowland territories of Adygea has started on the basis of the Belaya Rechka practice and educational tourism at the SFedU Institute of Earth Sciences.
During the shift, students will engage in a comprehensive study of the republic's landscapes and sustainable development issues. Route surveys will take place from the floodplain of the Belaya River to the alpine meadows of the Lagonak Highlands.
Field research is combined with master classes by leading specialists from the Department of Physical Geography, Ecology and Nature Conservation at the Institute of Earth Sciences. One of the key areas of work will be the development of initiatives to reduce anthropogenic pressure on local ecosystems.

The Belaya Rechka Practice and Educational Tourism Base, located in the picturesque foothills of the Caucasus, has traditionally become a field research site where students gain practical skills and explore the natural complexes of the region.
